Redcar’s beach will be buzzing with energy and community spirit on Friday, August 8th at 7am, as 25 brave locals take part in a sponsored sea dip in support of the Redcar Area Foodbank – and it’s not too late for you to get involved!

Organised by Redcar Area Foodbank, the event promises to be a refreshing and invigorating way to start the day, while raising vital funds to support local people in crisis.

Whether you’re a seasoned cold-water swimmer or trying it for the first time, sea dipping has proven health benefits, including boosting circulation, improving mood, and building resilience. And what better motivation to take the plunge than supporting a fantastic local cause?

Every pound raised helps the Redcar Area Foodbank continue providing essential support to individuals and families struggling with food poverty.
